Pedigree and relatedness

Maths that does not miss the common ancestor

Most tools stop at five generations, and a truncated calculation misses common ancestors and reports relatedness lower than it is. Nothing is cut here: every generation in your data counts.

  • The share of known ancestors always sits next to the number
  • Repeated ancestors are marked in the tree, so the reason is visible
  • Unknown ancestors stay empty, never filled in by guesswork

You pick the mode of inheritance and the engine works out male and female chicks separately. A hen cannot be split for a sex linked mutation, and that rule is built into the maths.

Incubation and output

Never miss the day, then put it on paper

Fertility check, hatch, ringing and weaning days are derived from the species data and reminded with a local notification. The result comes out as a certificate and a cage label.
